Secure access
Prisma Access deployment
and VPN migration.
U.S.-based engineers.
Specialist Prisma Access deployment, integration, optimization, and technical support from Rhenium Security’s U.S.-based engineering team.
Specialist focus
Make secure access fit the way your people work.
Remote users and branch locations need access to the right applications with consistent security controls. Rhenium helps plan and implement Prisma Access around identity, connectivity, application requirements, and the user experience.
Cloud-delivered security and access controls for remote users, branches, applications, and business data.
Official Prisma Access informationWhat we help with
From the technical detail
to the working environment.
The engagement is scoped around your requirements, dependencies, and internal capabilities.
User & branch onboarding
Map user populations, branch connections, application destinations, and migration requirements before the rollout.
Identity & access policy
Integrate identity requirements and define access policies around roles, applications, and the agreed security model.
Troubleshooting & tuning
Investigate connectivity and policy issues, validate changes, and document operational guidance for your support team.
Where engagements usually start
Secure access for people
who are rarely in the office.
Prisma Access engagements tend to start with a deadline: a VPN concentrator reaching end of life, a merger, or a workforce that stopped coming back to the building.
Replacing legacy VPN
Mobile-user onboarding with GlobalProtect, split-tunnel decisions, service connections to data centers, and a migration wave plan that keeps the old path alive until the new one is proven.
Identity that has to be right
SAML integration, Cloud Identity Engine, group mapping, and access policy written around roles instead of subnets.
Remote networks and branches
Onboarding sites as remote networks, sizing bandwidth, routing between locations and cloud, and the policy that follows users wherever they connect.
Performance complaints after go-live
Locating the slow hop, whether it is a compute location choice, DNS, decryption, or a policy that sends traffic the long way, and fixing it with evidence.
How a VPN migration runs
Moving users without stranding them.
Inventory
Map user groups, the applications each one needs, where those applications live, and which sites connect today.
Identity first
Connect the identity provider and group mapping before anyone moves, so access policy is written around roles from day one.
Pilot, then waves
Start with a pilot group, fix what it finds, then move users in planned waves while the old VPN stays available as a fallback.
Retire the old path
Decommission legacy concentrators only after every group has moved and the support team has the runbook for the new service.
Before go-live
The checks that prevent
slow-connection tickets.
Most post-launch complaints trace back to a handful of design decisions. We check each one before users move.
Location choices
Compute and connection locations that match where users actually work and where applications are hosted.
DNS behavior
Internal and external name resolution that sends traffic the right way for each application.
Decryption policy
Decryption that inspects what it should and excludes what breaks, documented so exceptions do not pile up.
Data center paths
Service connections and bandwidth sized for the applications that still live on-premises.
The Rhenium foundation
Specialist engineering.
Business perspective.
Every Rhenium engineer is based in the United States. You work with people who can collaborate closely with your team and stay connected to the technical outcome.
A senior architect designs and reviews every engagement, and every change is delivered with a tested rollback plan and documentation your team can operate. The work is judged on the outcome in your environment, not the hours spent in it.

Questions
Prisma Access questions.
Should we use Prisma Access or GlobalProtect on our firewalls?
GlobalProtect on existing firewalls can work well when capacity and locations fit. Prisma Access delivers the service from the cloud, which suits growing remote workforces and branches. We compare both against your users, applications, and support model.
Can Prisma Access be managed from Panorama?
Prisma Access can be managed from Panorama or from Strata Cloud Manager. We help choose the option that fits how your team already manages policy.
Do we still need our data center firewalls?
Often yes. Applications that stay on-premises are reached through service connections, and the data center firewalls continue to protect them.
How do we avoid disrupting users during the move?
A pilot group first, then planned waves, with the legacy VPN available as a fallback until each group is confirmed working.
Is Rhenium Security a Palo Alto Networks partner?
No. Rhenium Security is an independent engineering firm. Our engineers specialize in Palo Alto Networks platforms, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Palo Alto Networks.
How is Prisma Access work priced?
Pricing follows scope: the number of users and sites, the identity integration, the applications and data centers involved, and the migration plan.
